Adipurush Budget Revealed?

Young Rebel star Prabhas starrer upcoming movie Adipurush which is a rendition of Ramayana, is being made on a huge budget of Rs 500 cr, excluding the budget allotted for the prints and publicity.

The film, Adipurush which is being directed by Om Raut, is the most expensive movie ever made in India. During the media interaction, the moviemaker Bhushan Kumar said, “Adipurush was made on the lavish budget of Rs 500 Cr and we know that openings for the movie will be huge and will try to optimize the demand for the movie by going ahead with blockbuster pricing. People will not mind spending the extra bucks as it is a one-off it’s kind event Cinema, so we will make sure, to go all out with this movie.”

Bhushan Kumar also confirmed that the promotional activities of the film Adipurush will start around October. Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be essaying the role of Lankesh, and Sunny Singh is making his screen presence as Lakshman. The high-budget mythological drama is produced by T-Series in association with Retrophiles Pvt. Ltd and the music is composed by Sachet-Parampara. Kriti Sanon is essaying the female lead in Prabhas and Om Raut's project Adipurush.
