After Mahesh and Bunny, it’s Akhil!

Akhil Akkineni who has started his career in the year 2015 with the film ‘Akhil’ went on to act in the films Hello (2017) and Mr Majnu (2019). But, none of them has given this hero a break. Currently, he is working for an untitled film under the direction of Bhaskar. And now, he has grabbed another offer. ‘Geetha Govindam’ fame Parasuram has approached Akhil and narrated a script. As Akhil liked it, he has immediately signed for the film, sources revealed.

Initially, Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun thought of working with Parasuram as his film ‘Geetha Govindam’ has become a blockbuster and collected a whopping amount of Rs 75 crores at the box office. Parasuram has narrated a script to Mahesh and then Bunny, but, it seems none of the duo has liked the script and rejected it outright. And then, this director approached Akhil who said okay for the film.

Akhil is in dire need of a hit as he has no big hits in his career. He can survive in the film industry only if he gets at least one big hit. Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej has also struggled for a hit for a long time and finally, Chitralahari has given him a break and fetched more offers. In the same way, we hope Akhil to get a hit in the future!
