Ajay Devgan Father Dies in Mumbai

Actor Ajay Devgn's father and Bollywood stunt director Veeru Devgan died on Monday morning (May 27) at Mumbai. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on Twitter.

He wrote, "Veeru Devgan passed away this morning [27 May 2019]... Father of Ajay Devgn... Veeru ji was an accomplished action director... Also directed #HindustanKiKasam, starring son Ajay with Amitabh Bachchan... Funeral will be held today at 6 pm... Heartfelt condolences to Devgn family (sic)."

Veeru Devgan is the one who introduced his son Ajay Devgn to Bollywood with Phool Aur Kante. He has directed a film Hindustan Ki Kasam which stars Ajay as a hero.

Veeru choreographed stunts for more than 200 movies and also acted in 3 films - Kranti, Sourabh, and Singhasan.

Veeru Devgan was survived with his wife Veena Devgn, two sons - Ajay and Anil Devgn and two daughters - Kavita and Neelam Devgn.
