Akhanda 2 Teaser Set for Balakrishna’s Birthday Release

The much-awaited Telugu action sequel Akhanda 2: Thandavam is creating a buzz, especially with news about its teaser release. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the film is a sequel to the blockbuster Akhanda and is poised to be a landmark project in Balakrishna’s career. The teaser, reportedly finalized with a runtime of 110 seconds, is expected to drop on June 10, 2025—Balakrishna’s birthday—as a special treat for fans.

Sources reveal that Balakrishna has already completed dubbing for both the Telugu and Hindi versions, prior to traveling to Georgia for the film’s climax shoot. Meanwhile, there are rumors that the film’s release date, originally set for September 25, 2025, might be shifted to Pongal 2026. This move is said to be under consideration to avoid a box office clash with Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG, which may release around the same time.

The film features Pragya Jaiswal, Samyuktha, and others in prominent roles. It is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, with music composed by Thaman. Fans are eagerly awaiting the teaser launch and an official update on the release schedule.
