Amitabh Bachchan Voices Song for Kalki 2898 AD, Calls It “Tough for a Non-Singer”

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to a song in the Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD. Sharing the experience on his blog, Amitabh mentioned the challenges of singing, especially for a non-singer like himself, and praised the modern recording technology that enhances vocal performance. He also shared insights into the film’s demanding costumes and prosthetics.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is inspired by Hindu mythology and set in a post-apocalyptic world. Amitabh Bachchan plays Ashwatthama, a significant figure from the Mahabharata. The film, featuring a stellar cast including Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, is slated for release on June 27.
