Amitach Bachchan Celebrating His 78th Birthday

The biggest actor in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan turns 78 years old today. Amitabh, who has ruled the silver screen for almost five decades, has faced a challenging year as many of his family members testing positive for the coronavirus, including him. Fortunately, everyone recovered in a very quick time and was back at home.
'Big B' or the 'Shahenshah of Bollywood’ has appeared in over 200 Indian movies in his career, making him one of the greatest actors in the history of the Indian film industry. He was the most influential commercial actor in the industry during the 70s and 80s with French director François Truffaut calling him as a "one-man industry".
In his career, he has won several awards like the Dadasahleb Phalke Award, four National Film Awards as Best Actor and 15 Film fare Awards. The Government of India has honored him with the Padma Bhushan in 2001, the Padma Shri in 1984, and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015. For his exceptional career in the world of the cinema industry, in 2007, the Government of France has honored him with its highest civilian honor, Knight of the Legion of Honor.
Amitabh Bachchan's influence is not just limited to the silver screen. He has been the face of many brands for several years, even on television; he is widely popular as the host of KaunBanegaCrorepati for almost 20 years.
