Bahubali Rocket Launch: Prabhas, SSR Proud

Chandrayaan-2 was launched on 22nd July at 2.43 PM by a 640-tonne GSLV Mk III Rocket. The rocket was nick-named as Bahubali and it carried 3.8-tonne spacecraft. Chandrayaan-2 will take around forty-eight days to make a soft landing near the south pole of the moon. Prabhas and SS Rajamouli expressed their gratitude to name the rocket as Bahubali.
Prabhas took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “Hello Darlings! It is a proud day for all of us Indians as ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 took flight today. It is a further honor for the entire Bahubali Team with the rocket being regarded as #Bahubali for its magnum opus scale, years of hard work in the making & first of its kind capacity to carry 300 tonnes. More Power to India".

The successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-2 will ensure the fourth position for India after the US, Russia and China.
On the work front, Prabhas will next be seen in Saaho alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
