In recent times, Super Star Mahesh Babu has changed a lot as we can see that he is not doing any movie out of obligation. Even if the director is very close to the star, he is accepting the project if and only if he is impressed with the script.

This decision has indeed become a blessing in disguise for him. He has scored back-to-back blockbusters with his latest films. His last movie Sarileru Neekevvaru ended up as his highest grosser. It has even registered highest ever TRP for a Tollywood movie.

The star was in confusion for some months about his next project. After considering Vamsi Paidipally and Parasuram, he has finally given his nod to Parasuram. While the pre-production process was about to start, the deadly coronavirus outbreak has stopped it. Previously, it was reported that Keerthy Suresh will be playing the female lead role but that was ruled out.

Later Kiara Advani, who made her Tollywood with Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu, was also considered as the female lead. But as per the latest reports, either Sara Ali Khan or Kiara Advani will grab this offer. Both have equal opportunities. Since Mahesh Babu is asking his makers to rope in younger heroines besides him, this time, they are going for Bollywood actress.
