CBFC Grants U/A Certificate to Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi
Ravi Teja’s upcoming action-comedy entertainer Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi has officially been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A certificate, paving the way for its grand Sankranti release on January 13, 2026. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film features Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads.
The film’s production house, SLV Cinemas, announced the certification on social media, expressing confidence that the movie will deliver “top-class entertainment” this festive season. A special poster bearing the “Censored U/A” tag was also unveiled, further fuelling anticipation among fans.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner and presented by Zee Studios, the film promises a full-fledged blend of action, comedy, and family emotions. Alongside Ravi Teja, the supporting cast includes Sunil, Satya, Vennala Kishore, Sudhakar, and Muralidhar, adding strong comic depth to the narrative.
Dimple Hayathi, who plays a character named Balamani, recently spoke about her role during a promotional event. She described it as one of her most meaningful characters in recent times and credited director Kishore Tirumala for crafting the role with care.
The film boasts an impressive technical team, with music composed by Bheems Ciceroleo, cinematography by Prasad Murella, and editing by National Award winner Sreekar Prasad. Art direction is handled by A.S. Prakash. With Sankranti audiences traditionally favouring entertaining family films, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi is expected to be a major festive attraction.
