Can Bollywood Actresses Become Successful In South?

Many actresses from Hindi cinema try their luck in the South and vice versa is also true. This is not a new thing. Some become successful, but some don’t. The success of their career not only depends on their performance, but it also depends on the script and their role in the film.

Shraddha Kapoor is one such Bollywood actress who has dipped her toes in the South cinema. Her latest movie Saaho was recently released. But, against all anticipations, the film didn’t do much to her career. Her character in the film was limited, pale and boring. It seems that Shraddha might not opt another South film anytime soon.

Another super-star from Hindi cinema, Alia Bhatt is making her debut down the South with the film RRR. If reports are to believed, she too has a limited role in the film and this will affect her career in the South as well. But the film unit is claiming that these are rumors and negative publicity of the film.

This raises a question that, can Bollywood actresses become as successful in the South as they are in Hindi cinema? Shraddha and Alia are star kids but they are finding it difficult to rule in South also. On the other hand, actresses with no film background Kiara Advani is performing well in both industries.
