Charan Spent Huge Amount on Sye Raa VFX

"Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" An upcoming Indian Telugu-language biographical epic action film directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under the Konidela Production Company banner. The film will be dubbed and released in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. The story is based on the life of India's first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara and Tamannaah. Amitabh Bachchan will make a guest appearance.

The historical biographical film has extensive use of visual effects. It is learned that the visual effects alone have cost a whopping Rs 45 Crore. 17 VFX companies across the globe have worked on Sye Raa and the total budget of the film is estimated at Rs 270 Crore. As the film is set in the 1880s where Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy fights the British East India Company, the makers have recreated the life and times of Narasimha Reddy.

The pre-release event of Sye Raa is scheduled to be held on September 18 at Hyderabad. The film's trailer will also be launched at the event, and the news has come as a delight to fans. However, the film is scheduled to be released theatrically worldwide on 2 October 2019.
