Chiranjeevi and Bobby Reunite for a Bold New Project

Megastar Chiranjeevi is preparing for a new cinematic chapter as he wraps up his current family entertainer with Anil Ravipudi. Next on his slate is a collaboration with director Srikanth Odela, but the real buzz surrounds his confirmed reunion with director Bobby (K.S. Ravindra), who earlier helmed the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya.
In a recent interview, renowned screenwriter Kona Venkat revealed he is scripting the new Chiranjeevi-Bobby project. This time, the megastar wants to break free from formulaic patterns and explore fresh territory.
“Chiru sir made it clear—no more 'Baasha-style' films. He wants something different,” said Kona. The goal is to reinvent Chiranjeevi’s on-screen persona while retaining the mass appeal fans adore. “We’re blending commercial elements with a modern approach, much like what worked in Waltair Veerayya, but with a bolder narrative shift,” Kona added.
The team plans to complete the script by the end of the year, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated Telugu films on the horizon. With Chiranjeevi’s openness to experimentation and Bobby’s proven mass sensibilities, this collaboration could redefine the megastar’s next era on screen.
