Choreographer Jani Master alleges conspiracy and makes false accusations in an assault lawsuit.
On Friday, the third day of his interrogation in relation to the sexual assault case of a female assistant choreographer, well-known choreographer Jani Master, told the police he was being wrongly accused in the case.
He said that instead of accepting her love proposal, the victim had hounded him and filed a fictitious complaint. It has been reported that Jani, who was questioned by the Narsingi police in the presence of his attorney, informed the officers that the victim approached him after seeing him on a Telugu reality program and expressed a desire to collaborate.
He claimed to the police that he only offered her a position as his team's assistant choreographer because of her talent. But she began badgering him, demanding that he fall in love with and wed her. Despite his repeated warnings, she persisted in her actions.
At that point, he had approached a well-known director of films about the situation, and the director attempted to give the girl some advice. He did, however, inform the investigators that she persisted in harassing Jani.
He also told the police that he was being wrongfully accused in the case and that there was a bigger plot against him, organized and carried out by those who were jealous of his success in his career.
In the meanwhile, the Special POCSO Court has granted four days of police custody, which ends on Saturday. Conversely, the bail petition hearing for Jani Master was rescheduled for Monday.
In September, the Narsingi police detained Jani Master in connection with a POCSO and sexual harassment case involving a female assistant choreographer.
