Cobra To Release On OTT On This Date

Kollywood actor Vikram’s Cobra, which was released theatrically on August 31, has now finalized a date for its OTT release. The action thriller drama will have its digital release on SonyLIV on September 28.

The tweet announcing the release read, “Starring Chiyaan Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty with terrific music by AR Rahman, the film Cobra is the story of a mathematical genius, who is also an assassin and this will stream on SonyLIV from Sept 28.”

Helmed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, Cobra has Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, while former cricketer Irfan Pathan and Roshan Matthews are seen in key roles. The film received a mixed response from the audience at box office, but it is expected to reach more audience with its digital release.

On the other side, Vikram is currently busy promoting his next movie, Ponniyin Selvan 1, which is helmed by Mani Ratnam. The directional venture will hit the screens on 30th September.
