DSP Confronts Producer at Pushpa 2 Event
The grand pre-release event of Pushpa 2 in Chennai was a roaring success, drawing an immense crowd and building excitement for the film. However, an unexpected moment stole the spotlight when music director Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) publicly confronted producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers.
Speaking at the event, DSP addressed complaints about delays in his work. "Ravi Shankar garu, please don’t blame me for spending more time on stage. You always complain that I delay songs, background scores, and programming. Even today, you confronted me as we entered the arena. I could have addressed this privately, but speaking about it in public gives me a bigger kick," he remarked. DSP’s comments hinted at tension over reports suggesting that Thaman and Sam CS are contributing to Pushpa 2’s background score, leaving DSP visibly hurt.
The unexpected confrontation has sparked a debate, with fans and industry insiders questioning whether such issues should be aired publicly.
