Dhanush’s Local Boy Trailer Out

Dhanush starrer Pattas which was released in January 2020 in Tamil is now getting released in Telugu with the title ‘Local Boy’. The film recently got its official trailer and is getting positive feedback. As Local Boy is a martial arts film, people are showing very much interest to watch the film. Also, Dhanush has a good fan base in Tollywood and so the makers are releasing the film in Telugu confidently. The film is based on Kickboxing.

The official trailer is interesting but got very less number of views on YouTube as very few people know that Local Boy is the dubbed Telugu version of Pattas. Also, makers didn’t do much promotion for the Telugu version which is one of the reasons for the trailer not getting enough response. The film in Tamil too didn’t get expected response as the popular websites reviewed and rated the film poorly.

However, the taste of Telugus is a bit different that of Tamilians, there are chances for the film to become a hit if makers focus on promotions at least from now onwards. Directed by R.S. Durai Senthil Kumar, Local Boy stars Mehreen Pirzada and Sneha as leading ladies and Naveen Chandra played Antagonist. Nasser, Munishkanth, Sathish, and others are playing supporting cast.

Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan produced the film under Sathya Jyothi Films while Vivek and Mervin composed the music. Om Prakash has handled cinematography while Prakash Mabbu did the editing. Except for Dhanush’s Raghuvaran B.Tech, none of his films became successful in Telugu. We have to wait and see how Local Boy turns out to be!
