Don’t Call It An Item Song: Regina

Every Telugu film will have a special song, which we generally call an item song as it showcases the lead actor with not the lead actress, but with some other woman who dances for money. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie Acharya is having its shoot at a fast pace and actress Regina Cassandra has been roped in for a special song. Regina had already shot the song with Chiru for 6 nights.

The actress told people not to call it an item song but call it a celebration song. We have to wait and see if it really is a celebration song! Also, Regina revealed that she believes in doing different things as an actress. “I didn’t have a second thought when Acharya makers called me for a special song,” said the beauty. She also said that Acharya’s celebration song is the first and last special song in her career, as she doesn’t want to confine to just a song in a film in the future.

Regina, who made her debut with the film ‘Siva Manasulo Shruti’, acted in many films but didn’t gain expected response. And then she suddenly rose to fame through her performance in Adivi Sesh’s ‘Evaru’. As a cunning woman who is greedy for money and does anything for it. She lived in the character which made the audience understand her talent.

Currently, she has 3 Tamil films in her kitty. She will be seen in a key role in an upcoming casino-based comedy movie ‘Party’. Also, she is pairing up with Aravind Swami in the film ‘Kallapart’ and then she is making her appearance in Kasada Thapara, an anthology film.
