Dorasani Movie Review – Routine Storyline
Anand Devarakonda and Shivatmika Rajasekhar’s debut film ‘Dorasani’ has finally released today. Let’s see how the movie is!
Cast: Anand Devarakonda, Shivathmika Rajashekar, Kishore Kumar G
Director: K.V.R Mahendra
Dorasani Story:
Dorasani is all about a poor guy Raju (Anand) falling in love with rich girl Devaki (Shivatmika) in a village. Raju who loves Devaki initially impresses her with his poems. Devaki instantly falls in love with him. Later, how they withstand the caste-system that objects their marriage and how they unite forms the story.
Dorasani Review:
Anand Devarakonda performed well in emotional and love scenes. His dialogue delivery is good. Shivatmika leads the show with her beautiful expressions and performance. Music composed by Prashanth R Vihari is the major plus point. Though there are no more romantic songs, he managed well with folk songs as they are very connective.
Director K.V.R. Mahendra’s authentic flavor is good. Unfortunately, there is nothing new in the story. Like in any other film, poor boy loves a rich girl and both fights for the victory of their love. We have seen the same story multiple times, especially in Telugu. Cinematography is top-notch. Every frame is compelling. Editing could be done better as up to 10 minutes can be easily chopped off.
What’s Good?
- Performance of leads
- Music
- Cinematography
What’s Okay?
- Editing
- Production values
What’s Bad?

Verdict: The film is cool but slow narration may irritate you. But, if you are the one who expects uniqueness from the films, please stay away!
