Dumm Dumm Song From Darbar Out

With the craze that Rajinikanth has in Kollywood, all of his recent films have become hits at the box office. But, in Telugu, Rajini has no-hit after Sivaji. Though people here have expected a hit from his every outing, Rajini has disappointed his fans big time. His movies such as Linga, Kabali, 2.0, Kaala and Petta failed to impress the Telugu audience.

Now, Rajini is gearing up to impress his fans with his upcoming movie ‘Darbar’. Until now, two songs from the film have been released, and have got a positive response. Now another song ‘Dumm Dumm’ has released today. The song has got an average response in Telugu as it only managed 11000 views on YouTube, but in Tamil, the song got a whopping 2.8 million views. However, the Tamil version was released on December 7^th. We have to wait and see if the Telugu version, too, gets some interesting number of views in the coming days.

The movie is directed by AR Murugadoss, and it should be noted that this director is joining hands with Rajinikanth for the first time. Allirajah Subaskaran, under the banner of Lyca Productions, is producing the film. Nayanthara is playing the wife of Rajinikanth, while Nivetha Thomas is essaying the role of Rajini’s daughter. Suniel Shetty is playing a baddie. Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, Sriman, Prateik Babbar, Jatin Sarna, Nawab Shah, and Dalip Tahil are playing key roles.

The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while cinematography and editing are handled by Santhosh Sivan and Sreekar Prasad, respectively. The movie is scheduled for a release on 10 January 2020. There’s no doubt that the film will become hit and will collect good money in Kollywood, but, Rajinikanth needs a hit in Telugu to maintain his position here.
