Dushyanth Role Confirmed In Shakuntalam Film

Director Gunasekhar upcoming movie ‘Shakuntalam‘, starring Samantha Akkineni in the lead role is one of the much-awaited movies from Tollywood industry. Ever since the makers of the movie has released the motion poster of the actress Samantha, fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates of the film.

Now, the makers released an interesting update recently. They introduced Dev Mohan as Dushyyant, who will essay the male lead of the movie through a motion poster. The upcoming film is the story from Athaparva of the epic tale Mahabharata.

Based on the love story of Dushyanta and Shakuntala, daughter of Vishwamitra, Shakuntalam tells about the love between them, secret marriage, separation and reunion of the immortal love between the couple. The upcoming film, Shaakuntalam has music from Mani Sharma’s. Neeraja Guna is producing the film on Gunaa Teamworks. Samantha is going to join the sets of ‘Shakuntalam’ from March 20.

Esha Rebba will be essaying a key role in this mythological drama. She will be seen as Samantha’s friend and Gunasekhar, who is known to construct gigantic sets will be shooting the movie with a high budget and interesting cast.
