Eatala Rajender Removed From The Post, KCR To Wrest Portfolio

Amid land allegations quick development of events, Eatala Rajender today, on Saturday has been removed from his post health minister. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has approved the transfer of Medical, Health and Family Welfare portfolio from Etela Rajender to the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.

After the allegations of land acquisition against Eatala came into light, the Telangana CM has almost immediately ordered a high-level investigation and ordered the Director General Vigilance and Enforcement Purna Chander to submit a preliminary report on the same.

Eight farmers from Hakimpet and Achampeta villages in Masaipeta Mandal of Medak district filed a complaint with the CM alleging that minister Etela Rajender and his followers illegally occupied their lands and threatened them.

However, in a media interaction on Saturday evening, he has denied allegations and termed it as a conspiracy to defame his image. He said “Let there be an investigation by a sitting judge, CBI or any institution into my character and my property. If I am found guilty, I am ready to face any punishment.”
