Performances:
Rajendra Prasad’s performance in the film is one of his finest works in recent times. His mannerisms, body language, “fi fi” dialect, and energy levels breathe life into the role. Sree Vishnu essays a responsible son in the movie and delivers a good performance. Satya’s comedy is shown good and the rest of the star cast does what is expected from them.
Technical Aspects:
The film has a good assumption as it showcases the struggles of an aged person falling in a trench with the liability of not being able to ask for help. However, the narration and the screenplay are outdated. The movie looks like a medley of famous comedy scenes from other movies. The lack of proper character establishment results in less emotional connect.
The screenplay is neither entertaining nor emotionally touching. Director, Anish Krishna struggles to present his story in an interesting manner. Sai Sriram’s cinematography set a thriller classic for the movie and he is appreciated for his good work. Songs of the film are decent but the real standout is his background score. Editing should have been done better.
Positive Aspects:
Rajendra Prasad’s performance
comedy
First half
Music
Story
Negative Aspects:
Weak flashback episode
Screenplay
Narration
Second half
Verdict:
The audiences never really connect with the characters. The concept is good but the execution not better. The first half is watchable but the second half not so interesting.
