Godfather Success Meet

Megastar Chiranjeevi was very much elated when the actor spoke about the success of his recently released movie, Godfather, which was released on Oct 5th, on the eve of Dasara.

He spoke at length about the movie on the stage, and revealed many details, while the actor reiterated many points about the movie throughout his speech.

He said that his wife Surekha was more scared of the movie’s result than he was, as she wasn’t sure whether or not the film would be a hit, because there have been many instances in the past when even films with a huge buzz failed to do well at the box office.

He said that he’s very happy that even women have been liking the movie, and said that everyone that worked on the movie worked with their whole heart and that no one worked for money. He said that the success of Godfather is the result of many, all of whom pitched in their own ideas to make the film the best version, which resulted in the movie’s grand success.

He also addressed the various negative news reports that surfaced on the social media before the movie’s release, criticizing the movie’s promotional strategy, with many even saying that the movie was not being promoted well enough because the bankrollers were not confident on the movie themselves.

He said that this turned out to be a huge nuisance for them, but that he’s also happy that the same media are now talking about Godfather in a positive manner, with no single negative mark about the movie.

Furthermore, he once again thanked everyone that worked for the movie, hailed Satya Dev’s performance, and spoke about how Bollywood star Salman did the movie for free, even lashing out at someone who took the money the producers wanted to give him. Chiru thanked him once again and concluded his speech.
