High Court to stay on the release of Laxmi's NTR
The AP High Court has put on the release of Varma 'Lakshmi NTR'. The film was ordered not to be displayed until April 3rd. The next hearing was postponed to April 3rd. The judge said the film would be seen in the presence of the lawyers when they brought the copy to the Chamber. The petition was filed on Thursday in the court on the petition filed by two people seeking the release of the film.
After hearing the arguments, the court ruled that the case was adjourned to April 3rd. The counsellor's advocate Ponnavallu Sudhakar Reddy had argued that the censor board was not allowed to be allowed once. The lawyer who referred to the Supreme Court directive on the release of Padmavath was brought to the notice of the Telangana High Court. However, the filmmaker is preparing to go to the Supreme Court challenging this verdict.
On the other hand, the Mangalgiri court has also been put on hold. An injunction order was issued to release the film in Mangalgiri town till April 15th. PatibandlaAnil, a resident of Bhagwavapet, had filed a petition in the senior civil judge's court in Mangalgiri for his filmmaking. Directors Varma, Agastya Manju and producer Rakesh Reddy were issued notice by the court, the film will not be released till April 15th, as well as social media platforms, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
