When Deepika Padukone Fulfilled Her Mehendi Promise to Veena Nagda

Deepika Padukone’s wedding to Ranveer Singh at Lake Como, Italy, in November 2018 remains one of Bollywood’s most memorable celebrations. Among its many touching highlights was the presence of celebrity mehendi artist Veena Nagda, fulfilling a promise Deepika had made years earlier.

During a film shoot, Deepika had admired Veena’s artistry and vowed to book her for her wedding. True to her word, she kept that promise, making her mehendi ceremony not just an elegant affair but also a deeply personal one. Despite the chilly Italian weather, Deepika sat patiently through the intricate designs, reflecting her commitment to having Veena as part of her special day.

Years later, the couple continues to cherish new beginnings, as they recently welcomed their daughter, Dua. On the professional front, Ranveer is gearing up for Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, while Deepika is set to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan in King.
