Indian 2 Accident: Kamal Haasan And Kajal Emotional On Technicians Death

A shocking accident on the sets of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 took away the lives of three technicians. Reportedly, director Shankar was injured and getting treated in the hospital, while Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal escaped injury. According to the sources, a crane allegedly fell on the technicians when they were preparing up for the shooting at EVP film city on Wednesday night. 3 died and 9 were injured in the accident.
Kamal Haasan took to Twitter and expressed his grief over the accident. “No words could ease what we truly feel. We have lost 3 of our hardworking technicians,” Kamal wrote. Kamal also tweeted in Tamil which translates, "Today's accident is the most horrific I have seen in my career. We lost three colleagues but my pain is in no comparison to the grief of those who lost their loved ones. My deepest sympathies to them," he said.
Kamal also said that he has spoken to the doctors of the hospitals where the injured staff were joined. “I am hoping that they will be fine and I will be waiting for tomorrow,” he wrote. The three technicians deceased were 29-year-old food provider, 60-year-old food provider, and a 34-year-old assistant director.
Kajal also said that she escaped the death within a fraction of seconds and expressed her sadness of those who died and injured. "In so much shock, denial, trauma from the monstrous crane accident last night. All it took was a fraction of a second to stay alive and type this tweet. Just that one moment. Gratitude. So much learning and appreciation for the value of time and life. Words cannot describe the heartache I feel at the unexpected, untimely loss of my colleagues from last night. Krishna, Chandran, and Madhu. Sending love, strength and my deepest condolences to your families. May God give strength in this moment of desolation. #Indian2,” she wrote.
