Is Saaho a Copy Of French Film?

On of the most anticipated films of the year Saaho was released on 30th August. The much hype created around the film during its promotions paid well and it received tremendous box office response. Mission Mangal and Batla House were left behind in the race and Saaho crossed their box office collection in just three days.
Several fans took to their social media accounts and expressed their liking for the film and its amazing action sequences. Some fans, however, tweeted to filmmaker Jerome Salle and pointed out the similarities between him French film ‘Largo Winch’ and ‘Saaho’. The director has reacted to these tweets.
Jerome replied to one tweet and wrote, “I think I have a promising career in India''. He further added, “It seems this second “freemake” of Largo Winch is as bad as the first one. So please Telugu directors, if you steal my work, at least do it properly? And as my ‘Indian career’ tweet was of course ironic, I’m sorry but I’m not gonna be able to help.''

Earlier, the director accused Trivikram Srinivas of copying his work in ‘Agnyaathavaasi’. He told that the plot in Trivikram’s movie was similar to one of his movies.
Indian cinema has all the necessary talent and creativity for not having to plagiarize. And the silence from #Agnathavaasi team since one week is deafening. So let’s take action now. #LegalNotice

"The actual reason for #Agnyaathvaasi 's flop could be due to the director copying a film- Largo Winch, directed by Jerome Salle- was something that even @PawanKalyan 's fans couldn't digest."
