Once again the controversial celebrity Sri Reddy is in the news headlines. Sri Reddy officially confirmed that she is going to essay the role of Silk Smitha in a movie, which is based on the biography of the famous glamorous late actress Silk Smitha. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan won the National Award for Best Actress for the movie Dirty Pictures, which was based on the line of Silk Smitha.

Many films based on Silk Smitha’s biography have already been released in different languages, including Tamil. Now the actress Sri Reddy is all set to essay the role of Silk Smitha on the big screen.

The upcoming bilingual- Telugu and Tamil project will be directed by Madhu. The actress took to her microblogging page and revealed a video, in which she said, “The upcoming biopic has several big names in it, which I will reveal in a later video. I am sharing this news with you because I need your blessings and support to take this up. I wish the film makes it to theatres without any hassles.”

Earlier it was heard that curvy beauty, Anasuya Bharadwaj will essay the role of Silk Smitha. But now it was officially confirmed that Sri Reddy will be making her screen presence in this role.
