KCR on Linking Krishna and Godavari!

The agreement between the two Telugu states on linking of Krishna and Godavari rivers will be made soon said Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Thursday. “The sharing of Godavari water for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by diverting it to the Srisailam project will have major benefits,” the CM added. The talks are going on and soon a decision will be made. According to KCR, it is Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan and his officials who came up with the idea of linking Krishna and Godavari water and fill Srisailam project with that water.
“It is our luck that Krishna has full of water this year. Sometimes there will be no water,” said KCR. The proposal is to use the water of both rivers in both states. KCR also criticized AP Ex-CM Chandrababu Naidu for failing to provide water to Mahabubnagar district in his regime. KCR said that people can see amazing results once the talks get completed. Agreements will be made between the two states and then the project will be implemented.
Earlier, KCR and Jagan had held a meeting to discuss the sharing of these river waters. KCR said that the aim of him and Jagan is to avoid scarcity for drinking purpose, agriculture and industries. The hardships that are facing by the people from years will be mitigated, KCR assured. He also said that there is a good change in the relation between the two Telugu states after Jagan becoming the CM!
