Kajal’s Film On OTT Platform?

There is no way out except releasing the films on OTT platforms if makers want to earn money right now through their movies. Only a few big-budget films are waiting for theatrical releases. Now, Kajal Aggarwal’s film is also going to be released on the OTT platform. According to the sources, Kajal’s upcoming Tamil film Paris Paris will be released on the OTT platform soon.

Paris Paris is the official remake of a Bollywood super hit movie Queen in which Kangana Ranaut played the lead. The film was completed in 2017 but due to the censor issues, the release got postponed for years. The censor board asked makers for 25 cuts to get a U/A certificate. Finally, after making all the changes suggested by the board, the film was sent for censor again.

After completing all the formalities, unfortunately, the COVID19 came up and theatres were closed. So, it is said that Kajal and makers are showing interest to release the film on OTT rather releasing it even late in the theatres. Ramesh Aravind directed the film while Manu Kumaran produced the film under Mediente International Films Ltd. Amit Trivedi is the music composer.

Elli Avram, Vinaya Prasad, Bhargavi Narayan, Varun Shashi Rao, Thirunavukkarasu, Garry Fischmann, Benoit Solès, Anatole Yun, Nagui Mehany, Samarth Ashok Hegde, and T. P. Gajendran are playing supporting roles in the film. Queen is also getting its remakes in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam with the titles That is Mahalakshmi, Butterfly, and Zam Zam.
