Kangana Preps For Amma’s Biopic, Undergoes Prosthetic!

Kangana Ranaut is known for choosing different types of roles and woman-centric films. She has worked in Queen, Manikarnika, Rajjo, Simran to name a few of such films. Her upcoming movie is a biopic, based on the life of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Late Jayalalithaa, who is popularly known as ‘Amma’.
There were many reports earlier on finalizing the leading lady in the film who could do justice to Jayalalitha’s character. Later, filmmakers officially announced that Kangana is apt for the role. The film has been titled as ‘Thalaivi’.
Kangana is putting in a lot of effort to get into the skin of Amma’s character. She is currently in Los Angeles and is going through prosthetic measurements at Jason Collin’s Studio. Jason has previously done prosthesis for Brie Larson for the movie Captain Marvel.
Her sister Rangoli shared a few pictures on the social media of the same and praised Kangana for her extreme patience. The ‘Judgmental Hai Kya’ actress can be seen sitting patiently on the chair. Rangoli captioned the post as, “This is how measurements for prosthetics are taken, it’s not easy to be an actor, Kangana so calm even in something which is so suffocating for us to even watch"
Thalaivi is being produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh. The movie will be made in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously. Kangana is reportedly learning Tamil.
