Karan Bought it for 6 Crores!

Dear Comrade has become a super success in Tollywood, though it got a mixed response initially. The love and romance between the lead pair, Rashmika’s innocence, Vijay’s performance and unique storyline made people stick to their chairs till the end of the movie. Bharat Kamma’s hard work can be seen clearly throughout the film. The Telugu version of the film has collected 14.5 crores in 2 days!
Even before the release of Dear Comrade, popular Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar said that he will remake the film in Hindi. Now, sources revealed that he bought the Hindi remake rights of the film for a whopping 6 crores! As per the trade analysts report, no other South movie was bought for such a huge price. Vijay Devarakonda, after the success of his cult film Arjun Reddy, has become very popular in Bollywood too. Arjun Reddy was recently remade in Bollywood with the title ‘Kabir Singh’ which has become a blockbuster. Shahid Kapoor replaced Vijay in Hindi film.
As the remake film, Kabir Singh has earned huge, it is common that makers will think that they can make huge if they remake Vijay’s films. As Dear Comrade has become hit now, Karan is in no mood to back out from his decision and bought the rights for a big amount. Of course, he can regain his money within one or two days after the film’s release. Many people asked Karan to cast Shahid Kapoor as the lead, after learning that he is remaking Dear Comrade. But, Karan clarified that the lead cast is not decided and no one is approached yet!
