Lovers Day (Oru Adaar Love) Movie Review
Finally, the much-awaited movie of Priya Prakash ‘Lovers Day’ (Oru Adaar Love) has hit the screens today. Let’s check how the movie was, before watching it on the screens!
Director: Omar Lulu
Cast: Priya Prakash Varrier, Roshan Abdul Rahoof, and Noorin Shereef
Lovers Day Story:
Priya(Priya Prakash) and Roshan(Roshan Mohammed) are plus one students in Don Bosco Higher Secondary School. The story showcases love, friendship, jealousy among teenagers. Lovers day is a triangle love story between Priya, Roshan, and Noorin Shereef.
Lovers Day Review:
Noorin Shereef did her best in the role of Gatha John, who is a best friend to Roshan. Her energy levels are awesome. Priya Prakash and Roshan’s chemistry is impressive in one or two scenes in the first half. Their performances are decent.
But the problem is with the story as it has no strength. The screenplay is weak. A few scenes in the name of love and friendship were misled.
The romantic track between a plus one student and his teacher looks very cheap. Priya and Roshan’s breakup is the only scene where you find worthy of your money. Other than this, there is nothing in the second half.
What’s Good:
- Performance of actors
What’s Okay:
- A few comedy scenes
What’s Bad:
- Story
- Screenplay
Verdict: Better, you go for a date to some beautiful location this valentine's day instead of wasting money on movie tickets and popcorn in the interval. If you want to watch the film anyway, keep your expectations very low!
