Lucky Escape For Superstar From Liger

Young sensation star of Tollywood Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood star Ananya Panday starrer Liger was released recently. The sports film, which is written and helmed by Puri Jagannadh, had been making a lot of noise ever since its inception.

Although the sport based movie failed to impress the audiences, Vijay Deverakonda’ s act as an MMA boxer grabbed the attention in the movie. Liger, The Pan India film also with a powerful lady Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, and Makarand Deshpand in the important roles who acted in liger.

Did you know that Puri Jagannadh’ first choice to select as hero role for Liger was not Vijay Deverakonda. Puri Firstly planned to make the movie with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and he thought to repeat the blockbuster magic of their film Pokiri in Tollywood again. But Mahesh Babu didn’t accept the offer and the role fell in the lap of Vijay Deverakonda.

The sources say that Puri Jagannadh firstly planned Liger with Mahesh Babu in 2016 but due to creative differences, it didn’t happen. Few months ago, Puri also declared Jana Gana Mana with Vijay Deverakonda. Both the movie liger and Jana gana were initially offered to prince Mahesh Babu.

In past Puri jagannadh and Mahesh Babu have worked together for blockbuster movie Pokiri and also other movie Business Man. And these movies were blockbuster at the box office. On the other side, Liger failed to execute the output to the audience well at the box office.
