Manchu Manoj Demands Transparent Probe in Bandi Bhageerath POCSO Case
Actor Manchu Manoj has strongly reacted to the recent POCSO case involving Bandi Bhageerath, son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar. In a detailed social media statement, Manoj expressed deep concern over the allegations and stressed that justice must be delivered fairly, regardless of political influence or social status.
Manoj stated that the POCSO Act was created to protect minor girls and ensure equal justice under the law. He emphasized that no individual should receive special treatment because of political power or position. According to him, every child deserves equal protection under the Constitution and legal system.
The actor highlighted the importance of urgency, transparency, and accountability in handling cases involving minors. He warned that delays, silence, or selective action in sensitive cases could weaken public confidence in the justice system. Manoj also clarified that the issue should not be politicised and said the truth must emerge through a fair and impartial investigation.
Calling for a transparent legal process, he expressed hope that authorities would conduct the investigation without external pressure or interference. He further said justice should not only be delivered but should also be visibly seen by the public, reinforcing the principle that nobody is above the law.
In his post, Manoj tagged the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office, Telangana Police, Director General of Police, and Hyderabad City Police, urging them to ensure a fair probe into the allegations. His comments have drawn widespread attention on social media and added to the ongoing public debate surrounding the case.
