Manmadhudu 2’s Pre-release Business is Here!
Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2 is going to be released very soon. It is going to hit the screens on August 9th to entertain the audience. The movie got a lot of hype already with its aggressive promotions. Nagarjuna and his movie team never left a small and single chance to promote their film. They initially released movie posters, teaser and then trailer of the film which caught the attention, despite the negative talk. Now, the makers are releasing the songs from the film before its release.
Manmadhudu 2 has been in controversies ever since the teaser has been out! The female singer of the film Chinmayi Sripada is one of the reasons as her old tweet in which she mentioned that old Telugu heroes are not stopping roping in young actresses into their films has given a chance to critics. They questioned how Chinmayi is supporting Nagarjuna romancing with Rakul by promoting the film. People also said that he has double standards!
Later, the double meaning dialogues in the film made people irritated as they felt this sequel film will spoil the flavor of original film Manmadhudu. They also felt DSP’s music and Brahmanandam’s comedy will be missed. Though there is strong opposition, the film managed to make a good pre-release business. The film has collected 20.50 Cr by selling its theatrical rights.
The film has an own release in Nizam in advance basis and Nagarjuna is releasing the film himself in US and Krishna territories. Along with weekend advantage, Manmadhudu 2 will also have August 15th to collect more! Anasuya’s Kathanam is also getting released on August 9th and Sharwa’s Ranarangam and Sesh’s Evaru will be releasing on August 15th which would be a great competition of Nag’s film. Vennela Kishore, Nassar, Rao Ramesh, Lakshmi, Devadarshini and Jhansi played important roles in Manmadhudu 2 while Keerthy Suresh, Samantha Akkineni, Akshara Gowda and Brahmanandam will be seen in cameo roles.
