Modi Finally Says Yes to Chandrababu Naidu

Chandrababu Naidu, leader of the Telugu Desam Party, is set to be elected as the legislative council leader by his party MLAs, clearing the way for his swearing-in as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who previously skipped Naidu’s 2014 oath-taking ceremony due to other commitments, has confirmed his attendance this time.

Naidu extended a special invitation to Modi, who has decided to attend, likely due to their longstanding political alliance. The event will also see the presence of Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, making it a notable gathering.
