Mohan Babu Roped in for Mani Ratnam’s Dream Project!
Veteran actor Mohan Babu has been approached for a crucial role in Mani Ratnam’s high-budget historical drama. The film is said to be a multi-starer.
The story was based on the Tamil novel, Ponniyin Selvan, written by Kalki. Sources revealed that the film is a period trilogy which unfolds on a mammoth canvas and stars many top actors from all the film Industries.
Mohan Babu has agreed to act in the film, but he is yet to sign the agreement. The film will be made in several Indian languages and so it requires Mohan Babu dates in bulk. The film is said to go on floors in 2020.
Recently, Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya has announced the production of the historical series based on the same novel for a streaming platform.
