Movie Shooting To Resume In Telangana

Shooting for movie and TV shows in Telangana can resume with immediate effect, as CM K Chandrashekhar Rao has given the green signal with certain guidelines of COVID-19 in place.
Yesterday, CM said that the shooting can be held in the state with limited people and by following guidelines, which will be issued by the government from time to time. Post-production process will also be permitted from now, on the same lines. However, the permission is only limited to shoot and not to the theatres. The state government refused to give permission to theatres to reopen for the public as the Central guidelines don't permit this.
The permission was given to the entertainment field after several prominent movie personalities, including senior actors such as Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, various producers and others met the KCR recently at Pragathi Bhavan and requested him to give them permission for the shooting. They had also requested for the theatres to be reopened.
Responding positively to their first demand, KCR asked the officials concerned to prepare the guidelines, as per the official statement released by the officials. As per the recent reports Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other prominent film personalities met and prepared the guidelines.
They have given an assurance that they will conduct the shooting of the film and post-production process with limited staff and abide by the guidelines of the state. Based on this, the CM decided to grant permission to resume the shoot. However, there has been no official announcement about the final guidelines that were prepared.
