Movies releasing in theaters this week
This week, five films will be available to Telugu audiences in theatres. Along with Ravi Teja's Ravanasura in this, Kiran Abbavaram's Meter is getting ready for the big premiere.
On April 7, the movie Ravanasura, starring Ravi Teja, will be released. This action-entertainment film is directed by Sudhir Varma. As a criminal defence attorney, Ravi Teja will play a character with dark undertones. The female protagonist is played by Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar, and Faria Abdullah.
Meter: Telugu moviegoers are being impressed by young actor Kiran Abbavaram by watching his concept-driven productions. On April 7, Kiran Abbavaram, who found fame with Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, will welcome viewers with the film Meter.Kiran Abbavaram will play a police detective in the big-budget action film. Ramesh Kaduri is the director of Meter. The female protagonist is played by Atulya Ravi.
August 16 1947: The Telugu dub of the Tamil film August 16 1947, which was produced by Kollywood superstar filmmaker Murugadas, will be released on April 7. The main character in this film, which was produced by NS Ponram, is played by Gautham Karthik.
Deshamuduru re-release: On April 6, Allu Arjun's wildly popular film Deshamuduru will be re-released in theatres in honour of his birthday. This film's special openings will be broadcast in Telugu-speaking countries. This 2007 film, which Puri Jagannath directed, made a tonne of money for the makers.
The Pope Exorcist, starring Russell Crowe The Pope Exorcist will be dubbed in English and all South Asian languages and published on April 7.
