‘Murari’ Actor DS Deekshithulu Passed Away
Actor Deevi Srinivasa Deekshithulu, who is well-known to 90s kids with the film ‘Murari’, is no more. He was 62.
He suffered a cardiac arrest on the sets of the recently launched TV soap Sirisirimuvva at Ramakrishna Cine Studios, Nacharam, Hyderabad, this Monday.
He was immediately taken to the hospital but was confirmed brought dead by the doctors. Deekshithulu is well-known for his works in radio, theatre, cinema, and Television.
He also received the prestigious Nandi award for popular TV soap Aagamanam directed by Manjula Naidu. People remember him playing the role of a temple priest in Mahesh Babu’s Murari.
Deekshithulu hails from Repalle, Andhra Pradesh and worked as a lecturer for some time. However, he obtained a diploma degree in Theatre Arts from the Andhra Pradesh Theatre Institute and Repertory later.
