NTR's Adhurs: Back on the Big Screen, but Will Viewers Turn Up?

Scheduled for a Tollywood re-release on November 18th, NTR's Adhurs is facing a lackluster initial response in bookings. Even prominent centers, including RTC X Roads, show limited reservations, in contrast to Mega Star Chiranjeevi's recent Shankar Dada MBBS re-release, which garnered stronger bookings earlier this month.
The diminished enthusiasm for Adhurs underscores a broader trend - re-releases no longer capture audiences as they once did. What was once a unique experience has now lost its novelty.
Remarkably, even fans appear unenthusiastic about celebrating Adhurs' return to the cinema. The tepid response from the general audience raises questions about whether bookings will pick up as the re-release date approaches. Directed by VV Vinayak, Adhurs, the third collaboration between Vinayak and NTR, originally achieved success in 2010, thanks to its winning combination of NTR and Brahmanadam's comedy, along with Devi Sri Prasad's memorable music.
