Nag Investment in Manmadhudu 2 Revealed!

Nagarjuna’s upcoming film Manmadhudu 2 is going to be released on August 9^th. Promotions are rife to make the film collect as much as possible after its release. Though the film got a negative response from critics, there are people who are waiting to watch the film for its comedy. Also, the movie’s pre-release business has collected a good amount. And now, another interesting news is revealed!

According to the latest update, Nagarjuna has invested Rs 24 crores on this romantic entertainer! We all know that Nagarjuna himself is producing Manmadhudu 2 and now it is revealed that he had put this huge amount on the film excluding his remuneration. Manmadhudu 2 is directed by Rahul Ravindran who earlier acted in films like Andala Rakshasi, Pelli Pusthakam, Ala Ela and U-Turn. He also directed a film Chi La Sow in 2018.

Rakul Preet Singh is going to be seen as a lead actress in the film. She was seen smoking in Manmadhudu’s teaser which has given a chance for critics to give negative reviews. Also, there are a few objectionable dialogues in both teaser and trailer. While some are happy with comedy, many people are feeling that this film will spoil the image of the original film Manmadhudu. Though the title was inspired by the film ‘Manmadhudu’, the film is not a sequel to it and had a lot of difference.

Chaithan Bharadwaj composed the music while M. Sukumar handled cinematography. The movie also stars Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rao Ramesh, Jhansi, Devadarshini, Nishanti and others.
