Nawazuddin Siddiqui Wins Best Actor at NYIFF for 'I’m Not An Actor'

Renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has won the Best Actor award at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) for his performance in the film “I’m Not An Actor.” Directed by Aditya Kripalani, the film is a deeply introspective narrative that explores personal and emotional struggles through a unique cross-continental story.
The film features Nawazuddin as a struggling Mumbai-based actor who forms an emotional bond with a retired banker in Frankfurt, Germany, through virtual acting lessons. The storyline bridges cultural and emotional gaps, highlighting human connection across distance and identity.
