Anjali CBI Movie Review:
Nayanthara, as usual, lived in her role. She, as a CBI officer suited best than any other actress. Bollywood actor Anurag Kashyap is creepy as a baddie, his expressions are effective and everyone will fall in love with his performance easily. Raashi Khanna is okay in her role, while Arjun failed to impress the audience with his performance or expressions.
The romance between Vikramadityan (Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo) and Anjali is worked out well. There are some twists that are interesting and make you feel that thrill you expect from a good thriller film. The little girl who plays Anjali's daughter is quite convincing in her role.
Director Ajay Gnanamuthu should be given a pat for his work. Production values are decent. Music is okay. Cinematography needs a special mention.
What’s Good:
- Direction
- Cast
- Screenplay
- Visual appeal
What’s Okay:
- Music
- Editing
What’s Bad:
- Nothing
Verdict: Overall, Anjali CBI has everything that we expect from a thriller action crime film. So, you can spend your valuable time of 2.50 hours for this film without any hesitation.
