2020 will be knocking the door soon and so are many Bollywood stars, who will couple up on-screen for the first time. Some of these actors are in the industry for quite some time now but haven’t worked together yet. On the other hand, there is a swarm of new talent in the industry these days. All the newbies are extremely talented and are giving a good competition to the now-seasoned actors. Here is a look at some of the interesting and promising ‘Jodis’ of 2020, who will be making an appearance on the silver screen for the first time –

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

Alia and Ranbir are a couple in real life. They are one of the power couples these days and they became the talk of the town when they announced about their relationship. Ranbir is more than a decade old now and Alia is also part of the industry for as many as eight years. The two have never acted together in a single move though. Ayan Mukherji is fulfilling the wish of millions of their fans and uniting them on-screen with his film ‘Brahmastra’. This superhero fictional film will be released in summer next year. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.

Sara Ali Khan with Kartik Aaryan and Varun Dhawan

The extremely gorgeous Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of Nawab Saif Ali Khan. She made her Bollywood debut with ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and her next movie ‘Simmba’ with Ranveer Singh, earned her a place in the industry. She has proved her acting skills. Her amazing smile and cuteness have earned her many commercials as well. She has a huge fan following. She is now being paired against her boyfriend Kartik Aryan in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic movie ‘AajKal’. Being a couple in real life, it will be interesting to see their chemistry on-screen.

Sara is also paired opposite Varun Dhawan in the remake of film ‘Coolie No. 1’. Just like an old movie, this is also being directed by Varun’s father David Dhawan. The movie for sure will give a sneak peek into her eccentric and quirky side, which she happens to be in her real life.

Another star in the making is Shri Devi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor. She is an exemplary actor just like her mother and has given the proof of the same in her debut movie ‘Dhadak’. Her bucket is full these days and she is slowly making her way to the top. Janhvi’s upcoming movie ‘RoohiAfza’ is a horror-comedy and she is paired opposite the multi-talented actor Rajkumar ao. The movie revolves around a ghost who sings and put the grooms to sleep, to possess their brides.

Janhvi is also paired opposite Kartik Aaryan in Karan Johar’s‘Dostana 2’. This movie is the remake of 2008 film ‘Dostana’ which featured Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham.

Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday

Ishaan Khatter, half-brother of Shahid Kapoor is another talent in the tinsel town. He is all set to share a screen with Ananya Panday, daughter of comedian Chunky Panday, in the movie ‘Khaali Peeli’. The first look of the actors in the movie was released recently and it created a buzz in the B-town. Both of them are looking extremely promising. This is Ishaan’s second film and Ananya’s third. Both of them gave proof of their acting talent in their debut films ‘Dhadak’ and ‘Student of the year 2’ respectively.

In her upcoming movie ‘Malang’, Disha is paired opposite the very hot Aditya Roy Kapur. Directed by Mohit Suri, this movie is a romantic thriller and is shot in Goa. As per reports, the movie is about the drug mafia that has gripped the state of Goa. Mohit was able to create magic with Aaditya in his debut movie ‘Aashiqui 2’. It will be worth waiting to watch the same magic happen again.
