Pokiri is My Recommendation: Director Claims!

We could say that Pokiri is the milestone in Super star Mahesh Babu’s film journey and no one including Mahesh can deny that! But, from a few months, everything is not well between Pokiri’s director Puri Jagannadh and Mahesh Babu. A silent war is going on between the duo. However, Mahesh didn’t show up his problem in words while Puri directly said that he will not work with Mahesh in future!

Now, another interesting news about Pokiri is revealed. Director Meher Ramesh said that he is the one who asked Mahesh to act in Pokiri! Meher also said that he worked as an assistant director for Mahesh’s Bobby film and he even acted as a friend of Mahesh in the film. While working with Mahesh, Meher reportedly suggested Mahesh to act in Pokiri under the direction of Puri.

Meher also revealed that he attended Mahesh’s marriage and those are just rumours where media reported that actor and Mahesh’s father Krishna didn’t accept Mahesh’s marriage back then. But, there is no word on this said by Mahesh. If it was true, Mahesh has worked with Puri just because Meher said and there is nothing like Puri has convinced Mahesh. However, the film became a hit and fetched fame to both Puri and Mahesh. Since then, Mahesh has hits and flops but is managing to not lose his charm. But, Puri has no proper hits except ‘Ism’. Though Puri said that Mahesh will only work with ‘hit’ directors, it is clear that Mahesh needs a unique and message-oriented story as Mahesh worked with Puri for Pokiri, though he has flops before!

In a recent schedule of Sarileru Nekkevvaru happened in Kashmir, Meher Ramesh has also participated. A video is also going viral where Mahesh, Meher, Anil Ravipudi and others played cricket in a beautiful lawn in Kashmir. To know if it is Meher really who asked Mahesh to act in the film, we have to wait till Mahesh speaks on this!
