Model and actress Poonam Pandey has found herself in legal trouble after she staged a death stunt to raise awareness about cervical cancer. However, a day later, Poonam posted a video revealing that she was alive and had orchestrated the stunt to spread awareness about cervical cancer.

The news of Poonam's supposed death garnered attention, but it has now led to legal repercussions. Various figures, including celebrities, doctors, and politicians, have criticized her for spreading false news in the name of creating awareness. Maharashtra legislator Satyajeet Tambe has called on the Mumbai Police to take action against Poonam Pandey for disseminating fake news about her death.

The All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has also demanded the filing of an FIR against Poonam, stating that her actions have hurt the sentiments of the public. AICWA emphasizes that Poonam Pandey's misleading act has affected all Indians who mourned her supposed demise. The association insists on strict action to deter the circulation of such false news in the future.
