Priyanka Chopra Shares Behind-the-Scenes Moments From Varanasi Launch
Global icon Priyanka Chopra delighted her fans by sharing an exclusive behind-the-scenes video from the grand title and teaser launch of her upcoming film Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli and co-starring Mahesh Babu. The event, held in Hyderabad, created massive buzz, with Priyanka captivating audiences in a stunning ethnic look and impressing everyone by addressing the gathering in Telugu.
In her Instagram video, Priyanka revealed the detailed preparation that went into her stage appearance. The clip opened with her practising Telugu lines, showcasing her commitment to delivering her speech fluently in a language that she admitted is challenging to speak live. She was also seen reviewing her notes and rehearsing the flow of her dialogue.
Behind the scenes, Priyanka prepared for the long event by undergoing red-light therapy and applying a hydrating face mask to keep her skin glowing. The video then captured her arriving early at the venue, ensuring everything was perfectly planned ahead of her stage entry.
She also rehearsed her walk-on cues with SS Rajamouli and discussed key details with Mahesh Babu. A heartwarming moment showed the two actors sharing a light conversation before going on stage.
During the event, Priyanka confidently addressed the massive crowd, saying, “I am so happy to be back, making this movie in my beloved India.” After her speech, she warmly greeted Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara before settling into her seat.

The film stars Mahesh Babu as Rudhra, Priyanka as Mandakini, and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist Kumbha.
