Proud Moment: Padma honors for 5 Telangana residents.

This year, five Telangana residents have been chosen to receive the prestigious Padma Awards, comprising three Padma Shri awards and two Padma Bhushan awards.
Among them, spiritual gurus China Jeeyar Swami and Kamlesh D. Patel, also known as Daaji, will receive the Padma Bhushan honor. The Statue of Equality was created by Chinna Jeeyar Swami, also known as Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana. Chinna Jeeyar Swami is well-known for his inspirational talks on Sri Vaishnavism.
The founder of the Heartfulness Movement, Kamlesh D. Patel, is renowned for his value-based self-development programs that are made available to instructors and students in more than 2,500 schools, colleges, and institutions. In 130 countries, heartfulness organizations provide free meditation instruction.
Hanumantha Rao Pasupuleti in the field of medicine, M. Vijay Gupta in the field of science and engineering, and B. Ramakrishna Reddy in the field of literature and education will all get the Padma Shri. Hanumantha Rao is credited with founding the Sweekaar Rehabilition Institute for Handicapped in Secunderabad, which eventually evolved into the Sweekaar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Ramakrishna Reddy, an 80-year-old professor of linguistics who is being honoured for his contributions to literature and education, is well known for his work in preserving tribal and southern languages like Kuvi, Manda, and Kui and for creating a cultural bridge that links those languages with other tongues.
